What this site sets
For an ordinary visitor reading these pages, nothing that identifies you. There is no advertising cookie, no profiling cookie, no social media pixel and no third-party tracker embedded in the public pages.
Strictly necessary cookies
Two categories may appear:
- Security tokens on the enquiry form. These prevent the form being submitted from another site on your behalf. They exist only while you are using the form.
- Session cookies for signed-in administrators. These apply to us, not to you, and only when someone is logged into the website’s admin area.
Both are strictly necessary under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, which is why there is no consent banner blocking this page. A banner that asks permission for cookies we do not set would be theatre.
The names you might see
This site runs on WordPress, so if any cookie does appear it will be one of the platform’s own. For completeness:
wordpress_test_cookie— a single check that your browser accepts cookies at all. Discarded immediately.wordpress_logged_in_…andwordpress_sec_…— sign-in cookies for administrators. Never set for ordinary visitors.wp-settings-…— remembers admin screen preferences. Again, administrators only.
There is no cookie that records which pages you read, how long you stayed or where you arrived from.
Local storage and embeds
The site stores nothing in your browser’s local storage, and it embeds no videos, maps, chat widgets or fonts from other domains. Everything the page needs is served from this site, which is also why it loads quickly.
If that changes
Should we later add analytics or any other non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent before it is set, and this page will be updated to list it.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking the security token above will stop the enquiry form working, which is the only practical consequence on this site.
