IPTV on Apple TV
The hardware
Recent Apple TV models are considerably more powerful than a typical streaming stick, and it shows. Long channel guides load quickly, the interface stays responsive, and the device copes well with being left on for weeks.
Models with an Ethernet port are worth using wired. As always, that single choice does more for playback than anything in the software.
The platform constraint
tvOS only installs from Apple’s App Store. There is no sideloading, so the choice of player is limited to what Apple has approved, and an app can be withdrawn or updated on Apple’s timetable rather than anyone else’s.
We tell you which App Store player to use with your access details. If you already own an Apple TV it is an excellent device for this; if you are buying specifically for the purpose, an Android TV box gives more flexibility for less money.

Apple TV specifics
tvOS is a closed App Store environment. Use the player we confirm for your package after activation — do not assume every IPTV-branded app on the internet is available or suitable.
Common Apple TV issues: Screen Time / purchase restrictions blocking installs, Siri Remote needing a re-pair, and AirPlay confusion (AirPlay is not the same as loading your IPTV playlist).
